FCA Character Coach Training — 6-Week Course

The FCA Character Coach Training is a 6-week equipping series designed to prepare adults to step confidently into the mission field of local sports teams, recreational sports, tournaments, and school communities. Participants will be trained to be Gospel-ready—able to build genuine relationships with coaches and athletes, learn names effectively, offer timely encouragement, and share meaningful devotionals.

Throughout the course, participants will walk through:

Coaching 360 – Understanding the influence of a coach and cultivating Christlike character.

E3 Discipleship – Learning how to Engage, Equip, and Empower others with the Gospel.

The FCA Core – Mastering FCA’s foundational truths and ministry philosophy.

Training Goal: 

By the end of this 6-week experience, every participant will be inspired and equipped to live out the Great Commission through sports ministry—whether by: 

• Sharing devotionals at school practices
• Offering prayer before games
• Leading Bible studies or chapels at weekend tournaments
• Supporting coaches holistically
• Serving schools through initiatives such as feeding teachers or coaching staff. 
• Building ongoing, relational ministry programs on campus

This course will challenge and empower you to step into the sports world as a missionary, carrying the hope of Jesus to athletes and coaches who desperately need it.
